Paul was recommended to us and we have not been disappointed. He has now completed three task for us. The major one being the dismantling of an old conservatory and replacing it with a larger gardens room/orangery plus a new patio.
On each occasion his prices were competitive. He came when he said he would and the work was completed to a high standard.
On the way he sorted out the misdemeanours of previous builders which were giving cause for concern.
With regard to replacing the conservatory we only had a limited idea of what we wanted but we discussed our basic requirements with Paul and left it to him to come up with a plan and liaise with the council planning department.
Paul who is ably assisted by his son John, has a network of good reliable craftsmen and contacts and has the happy knack of getting the best out of everyone.

We are delighted with the results and recommend him without hesitation

We would highly recommend Harpur Hill Construction. They are an excellent reliable company who take a pride in their work.
Paul project managed a new kitchen and dining room extension plus renovation to our property.
All the work was completed by his company.
The build started on schedule and we were delighted with the end result.
The entrance to the site was narrow and we wanted minimum disruption to our existing garden. The new extension runs seamlessly through to the existing building thanks to Paul and John’s constructive ideas and forward planning.
The kitchen was fitted beautifully and we are so pleased with the renovation.

Paul and John unfortunately had an added challenge part way through the build of a house bound client as Carol broke her left foot and right leg and ended up with a bed in the lounge right next to the build. Paul and his company went out of their way to help us both so that there was minimum noise and disruption. They even managed to knock through the main house wall before Carol came out of hospital later the same day. They thoughtfully surprised us by building a ramp so that a wheelchair could get through the front door. And managed during a busy build to construct a patio at the back of the house so that Carol could get into the sunshine with her wheelchair.
They gave us support and helped us over and above any building remit.

When giving us a quote for a two storey extension, we found him very competitive.Paul started work for us in the august and the work was finished by the end of October as agreed. On reviewing the plans he fully discussed what the extension would look like and what we most respected was his interest in and opinions on certain aspects of the drawings. His approach is very consultative and he discussed all aspects of the project as it progressed.He made his recommendations on what would be better and the advantages and disadvantages of his ideas and our original plans.
